‘Reimagining Gap’s classic icons through Cult Gaia’s lens has been an amazing journey,’ said Jasmin Larian Hekmat, founder and designer of Cult Gaia.
‘The collaboration brought together Gap’s classics and everyday wearability with Cult Gaia’s sculptural and artistic approach, merging our two distinct creative forces.
‘Each piece in this collection is thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, blending art and function in a way that feels unique and timeless.’
Jasmin Larian Hekmat launched the LA-based brand in 2012.
After two years the label amassed a cult-like following and its popularity has continued to grow thanks to its ability to produce the latest must-have fashions.
The first being the sculptural wooden Ark bag that was spotted in the hands of just about every stylista.
Their next big hit was the tan bodycon dress featuring side cutouts – a design so good it was knocked off by many other labels (both low and high-end).
Cult Gaia (named after he Greek goddess of the Earth and being cult-like) has always been inspired by nature.
The label’s designs are works of art that are functional enough for everyday wear, making it a perfect Gap partner.
