Field boys soccer handed Cloverleaf its first loss Tuesday evening.
The Falcons (8-1) topped last year’s Metro Athletic Conference champions behind a goal apiece from Cedric Martin and Brayden Ronowski and an assist apiece from Ethan Flores-Soler and Wyatt Rahe. Caleb Brastine made six saves to help Field pick up the victory, including stopping a penalty kick.

Payton Krzeminski delivered a remarkable performance with a hat trick and three assists. Nick Castrilla added two goals and an assist while Ethan Laryea had a goal and two assists.

Chris Savukas broke a scoreless tie in the second half for the Greenmen off an assist from Cam Gentille.

With star setter Shemayah Stevens out sick, freshman setter Alexa Cain stepped up big-time with 28 assists. Emma Zsiros (11 kills) and Gabriella Salyer (8 kills) were frequent beneficiaries of Cain’s work while Katie Blythe impressed with five aces.
Windham def. Maplewood, 15-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-22
The Bombers bounced back beautifully from a heartbreaking five-set loss to Chalker the previous night and a first-set loss to the Mounties. Quinn Justham (25 assists, 15 service points, 14 digs) and Sara Giugni (24 kills, 6 blocks, 5 aces) led the charge for Windham.

Whitney Holmes and Mallory Sterba led the Ravens with 6-0, 6-0 wins at first and second singles, respectively, with Jaylynn Walker and Izzy Short adding a straight-set win at first doubles.
Kourtney Austin provided a major highlight for the Falcons, edging Alannah Raffa in an absolute thriller 6-4, 6-7 (10-8), 1-0 (10-8).
