  • Couple Breaks Up After Girlfriend Denies Eating Leftovers At A Friends BBQ Party

Couple Breaks Up After Girlfriend Denies Eating Leftovers At A Friends BBQ Party

Being a good host means looking out for all your guests, right? Well, one Redditor found herself feeling awkward at a BBQ hosted by her ex’s friends. The 37-year-old shared her experience, saying it was her first time being invited by ‘ex-boyfriend’s friends’ to join them for a pre-drink/BBQ. Before heading over, her boyfriend casually mentioned, “his friend messaged and said the host feels bad because they are having a BBQ and there may not be enough food for everyone, so if we see food lying around to not feel bad about it.”

At first, the Redditor thought this was cool and “assumed he meant they’d have already eaten and we were joining after.” But when they arrived, things took a turn. It quickly became obvious that no one had touched the food! Out of the 12 invited guests, only eight were seated for dinner while the other four were left hanging. She recalled, “When it came to meal time, the 8 of them sat around a nicely set table and chowed down without making eye contact with us while we stood on the outside of the table chatting. I thought this was so weird, my ex did not, I guess? It was awkward because we were actually starving!”

The story does not end here. The Redditor shared that when the meal was done, the host got up and said “Guys, please help yourself!” to the leftovers. The woman found it odd and while her ex went and got some food on a plate and said “Come eat”, she shared that she “just couldn’t get myself to do it. I don’t even know these people and it was so uncomfortable. I politely said, no thank you! And carried on my conversation. Well, my ex was so bothered by this reaction from me, it ruined the whole evening for him and we actually broke up after that (he broke up with me).”

She further added, “He had originally said we would just eat together at the street festival so I was bothered that he put me in that position and then was mad at me for choosing not to eat and grabbing a snack on the street?”

Feeling shocked and confused, the Redditor, who is from Canada, wondered, “Is this culturally normal behaviour for some people? I live in Canada, and I could never eat in front of a guest in my home and not feed them but is this normal behaviour for some? Was I rude or in the wrong for doing this? Or was he gaslighting me by being mad and making me feel like the rude person for declining food?”

The post went viral on Reddit with more than 13K upvotes and 1.5K comments.

A comment read, “No, this is so weird. To specifically single out guests to only get leftovers while the ‘first’ crew gets their pick?? I don’t know ANYONE who would do this.”

Another added, “I’m with you. I never eat until everyone else at my home has made a plate and I always make sure to have enough food.”

A third wrote, “This sounds like a mess. Why would you invite people to a barbecue whom you can’t feed?”

Another chimed in, “What culture would eating in front of others be anyway??? Very weird and rude, I would’ve left after seeing them all sit down to eat in front of you guys.”

1000 Lb Best Friends’ Vannessa Hopes to Be Approved for Skin Surgery

1000 Lb. Best Friends star Vannessa Cross is ready to share her weight loss journey during the season 3 premiere and “hopes” to be approved for skin removal surgery.

“Since I’ve lost the weight, I’m physically different, mentally different. I cannot believe I can put my socks on. I reach monumental goals every day that people of regular and average size have lived with every day of their life,” Vannessa, 46, said in a teaser clip TLC shared via Instagram on Sunday, October 20. “I can just stand up and walk, getting out of the bed. I don’t have to have a bedside toilet. I don’t have to wear diapers anymore.”

Vannessa went on to share her love for fitness and detailed how her life is “so different” now that she instilled healthy habits in her daily life.

“My confidence is getting stronger but I do feel way more self-conscious when it comes to all my skins, all my flab, Miss Betsy,” Vannessa said in a confessional, later adding, “I only name Betsy May, I guess that’s kind of sad that the only role that got named was her but she is predominant – everything the way it looks. It’s not sexy. It’s not cute. Let’s keep it 100. It’s very like, I just feel like an old woman because of everything. So, I’m hoping and hoping and hoping to get approved for skin surgery in the next few weeks. I have been maintaining my weight so my legs are rubber right now.”

    Vannessa Cross/ Instagram

Under the comments section of the post, one fan admitted that they have “never been more excited to see a stranger get their skin cut off.”

“I literally only watch this show because of her. She’s the only one that has made such a big difference and I’m still surprised that the doctors will not help her get her skin removed,” a second person wrote.

“Bless her heart, she is so small underneath the skin,” a third fan commented. “Good for her for never stopping and if I was a plastic surgeon I would hands down do that work for free for her!”

Although the season has yet to premiere, Vannessa told People that she was approved for skin removal surgery in a story published on October 18.

“Life has changed immensely for me, from being 450 and now I am under 200 lbs. I actually go to the gym. I actually eat extremely healthy foods. I never saw myself living a healthy lifestyle and here I am,” the reality star told the outlet.

Vannessa admitted that she plans to continue to go under the knife to achieve her desired look, including one that will complement her behind.

“I’m a little bit addicted to plastic surgery because my healing was extremely easy and painless. So my next goal is a BBL. I want my Brazilian butt lift,” she continued to the outlet. “You know, white girl, no butt ever in my life. Mommy and daddy didn’t have butt, so I’m going to need my plastic surgeon to give me one of them pretty little round booties.”

Travis Scott enjoys a luxe night out on Sydney Harbour with some scantily clad female friends and a mystery woman who goes to extreme lengths to hide her identity

Travis Scott enjoyed a luxe night out on Sydney Harbour on Sunday night.

The 33-year-old US rapper, who is currently on his Circus Maximus tour in Australia, was spotted disembarking from the Seven Star super-yacht after enjoying a lavish boat party in the Emerald City.

The Sicko Mode hitmaker attempted to go incognito in a washed-out khaki zip-up hoodie paired with baggy jeans.

He added a chunky belt to his look, along with a silver watch and bracelet, and opted to hide his famous face behind designer sunglasses.

Travis, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, was joined by an entourage of stunning ladies – and a mystery woman who went to great lengths to conceal her identity.

Travis’ female guests opted for figure-hugging outfits on the night that flaunted their eye-popping curves.

One guest could barely contain her ample assets in a green ensemble that was perilously held together by strands of fabric and a prayer.

Another guest stunned in a daring red catsuit, while one more turned heads in a gold number with criss-cross detailing at the waist, and a low cut bust.

The top secret guest opted to cover her head and shoulders with a blanket – and her eyes with sunglasses – as she scurried off the super-yacht.

She made sure her figure was on display in a body-hugging dress adorned with a print in shades of red, yellow and black, with a hint of blue.

She opted to boost her height with chunky red Converse Chuck Taylors.

Once she made it to land, she rushed to an awaiting vehicle desperately clutching the fluffy throw where she was met with someone from Travis’ entourage.

She then disappeared into the night.

Travis is expected to spend some time in Sydney before heading to Melbourne for a show at the Marvel Stadium on October 22.

He will then wrap things up on October 26 with his final Australian show at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

Travis, who is the ex of Kylie Jenner, left some Aussies unimpressed when he revealed his list of concerts Down Under on his Circus Maximus world tour.

After revealing he would only be visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and New Zealand, many fans were left fuming at having to travel to see him live.

Fans in Perth and Adelaide in particular were left disgruntled after he became the latest in a long line of global stars to skip over the Aussie cities on their tours.

‘What about Perth?’ one fan messaged the performer, while another added: ‘Typical [that] Perth gets left out.’

The US leg of Travis’ Circus Maximus World Tour has already earned the performer an eye-watering $27million, according to Perth Now.

Travis is not the first to skip over the WA capital while visiting Australia after Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift both failed to perform there.

The Jonas Brothers, Sam Smith and Charlie Puth also all left Perth fans out in the cold as they were forced to travel to the east coast to see them perform live.

Dua Lipa has also been hit by backlash in recent weeks for skipping over Brisbane and Perth on her upcoming 2025 tour.

1000-Lb Best Friends star Vannessa Cross has made remarkable progress in her weight loss journey. Skin removal was next on her to-do list, and it seems she qualified for that. But now, she would love to have a Brazilian Butt Lift.

See what Vannessa had to say about her weight loss journey so far and what’s next on the horizon.

Vannessa Cross Wanted To Change Her Appearance After Losing 250 Lbs

In a new interview, Vannessa Cross opened up and admitted she lost 250 lbs, which made her eligible for skin removal surgery. Last season, the TLC star admitted her excess skin made her feel extremely self-conscious.

“Life has changed immensely for me, from being 450 and now I am under 200 lbs.,” Vannessa shared with PEOPLE in a recent interview. “I actually go to the gym. … I never saw myself living a healthy lifestyle and here I am.”

She affectionately nicknamed her stomach skin “Betsy May,” but confessed she’s excited to have it gone.

“I got turned down by a couple plastic surgeons, which blew my mind because it wasn’t nothing but a bunch of hanging skin. But finally, I found a doctor that accepted me and I had my plastic surgery,” Vannessa continued. “I had Betsy May chopped off, honey! She gone! She’s swimming somewhere!”

After going through the skin removal surgery, she claims she’s “addicted” to plastic surgery and has one specific procedure in mind — a Brazilian Butt Lift.

The TLC Star Isn’t Done With Plastic Surgery

Having skin removal surgery is a monumental accomplishment. But Vannessa Cross isn’t finished yet.

“I’m a little bit addicted to plastic surgery because my healing was extremely easy and painless. So my next goal is a BBL. I want my Brazilian butt lift,” Vannessa shared with PEOPLE. “You know, white girl, no butt ever in my life. Mommy and daddy didn’t have butt, so I’m going to need my plastic surgeon to give me one of them pretty little round booties.”

Although she hasn’t received her BBL yet, the TLC star feels better than she ever has in her entire life.

“I feel like I am the baddest woman alive and can’t nobody touch me. I love being able to walk out the door every day and hold my head up high knowing I am somebody,” Vannessa continued. “Yes, maybe I was somebody at 450 lbs., but I was somebody that just wanted to stay hidden. Now Vannessa’s out there, honey! I want the world to see me. I’m happy. I’m healthy.”

Are you excited to learn Vannessa Cross finally received her skin removal surgery? Do you think she will really go through with a Brazilian Butt Lift? Leave your thoughts in the comments.

Catch the Season 3 premiere of 1000-Lb Best Friends at 10 PM Eastern time on October 22.

Matt LeBlanc Has ‘Friends’ Co-Stars Concerned

Matt LeBlanc’s co-stars from Friends have shown concern after photos of the actor have surfaced with him looking exhausted. Some suspect the loss of LeBlanc’s friend and co-star Matthew Perry has made him more reclusive. In a statement, a source assured LeBlanc his co-stars are still there for him.

Photos Showed LeBlanc Car Shopping With His Daughter

On the famous NBC sitcom, LeBlanc played the character of Joey Tribbiani. LeBlanc’s character was a struggling actor in New York City and often served as the show’s comic relief. The character also notably received his own self-titled spin-off, Joey, which ran for two seasons.

Outside of his Friends role, LeBlanc is also known for the sitcom Man with a Plan. Beforehand, he was also known for his recurring role of Vinnie Verducci on Married… with Children. LeBlanc also reprised the character in two spin-offs, Top of the Heap and Vinnie & Bobby.

Over the years, LeBlanc has been known to keep a low profile on social media. However, photos were recently taken of the actor after he was seen car shopping with his daughter, as noted by Daily Mail. After the photos surfaced online, some commenters claimed LeBlanc looked disheveled or unrecognizable.

In a statement with In Touch Weekly, a source claimed that recent photos of the actor have worried LeBlanc’s former co-stars. The source said that, “Nobody’s body shaming Matt or accusing him of anything untoward lifestyle, that’s not what’s going on here.”

“What’s concerning though, for Jen [Aniston] and all the Central Perk crew, is that he’s such a recluse these days and they barely hear from him from one month to the next.”

The Source Assured The Actor Still Has His ‘Friends’

There is some speculation that LeBlanc’s reclusiveness is a response to the death of his Friends co-star Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing. The two were known to have remained friends after the end of the series, with the cast generally being known for staying in touch. Notably, the recent photos of LeBlanc were the first time the actor had been pictured in months.

LeBlanc was also notably the first castmate to pay tribute to the late Perry. In a post on Instagram, the actor wrote that, “It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.” He also referred to working with Perry as an “honor.”

As the source noted, “He used to be such an upbeat, happy guy but now it’s as though he doesn’t feel worthy to be in their company somehow.”

“Clearly his self esteem’s taken a knock.” The source also commented on how LeBlanc looked “physically.”

The source also commented that LeBlanc’s Friends co-stars are there for him. As noted, “Jen, Courteney [Cox], Lisa [Kudrow] and David [Schwimmer] all want to get him back in the fold and get him smiling again. The recent tragedy has taught them all how short and precious life truly is.”
