For the NFL season, pro footballers dust off their cleats and jerseys to make successful plays under the bright lights at their respective stadiums, which are packed with die-hard, passionate fans cheering them on.
However, the real action is in the suites – and on the turf sidelines – where the WAGS (wives and girlfriends of professional athletes) command attention in their own sport, fashion.
Each WAG has a unique, meticulous approach. Kayla Jones, the wife of Denver Broncos defensive tackle D.J. Jones, is committed to showing off her comfortable but chic style during game days. Through her outfits, she supports the team and her hubby.
“When he puts on his uniform, I feel like I’m putting on my uniform,” Kayla, 28, told USA TODAY. “I want to show up for him, and it’s also so amazing to know that he gets excited to see what I’m wearing to the game. It’s just this thrill.”
Kayla and D.J. met in college and officially tied the knot in 2020. Her husband was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers and eventually started playing for the Broncos.
“I’m just so grateful to be able to support him in doing what he loves, and he reciprocates that energy towards me as well, with my love and passion for style and all things fashion,” she said.

‘You can’t tell me nothing!’
Getting ready for game days is hectic. When deciding what to wear, Kayla prefers a cute but functional ensemble. She always remembers her football purse.
“I try to make sure that whatever I’m wearing is going to be bold and make a statement, but also it’s comfortable because the last thing you want is for your feet to be hurting at a football game because it’s a long day,” Kayla said, adding that she also considers the weather with her attire.
“Here in Denver, we do get snow, and it gets cold out here,” she continued.
It’s her favorite time to get dressed, though. She could hardly wait to pull out her designer boots and mink coats when the temperature drops: “Once I get a little breeze, baby, I’m pulling out all these coats. Y’all can’t tell me nothing!”
Kayla’s Instagram content highlights the best of her styling and makeup prowess. Her outfits mostly always incorporate the team colors sunset orange, summit white, and midnight navy.
In one of her most recent efforts, she wore a monochromatic blue look. Another shows her wearing a sherling, blue denim with a cowboy hat.
One of Kayla’s favorite outfits of the season thus far is a navy blue shirt and vest set with a white bow-tie blouse. The knee-length Fendi Jacquard Chenille boots were the icing on the cake.
” I feel like your outfit can be a combination of high fashion with subtle details,” she said. “You don’t have to be designer from head to toe. It’s all about how you balance your outfit.”
WAGs invest in their beauty
Other WAGS hire beauty professionals to elevate their game-day looks. Celebrity Makeup artist Allison Kaye has worked with WAGS from several teams, including the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, New York Jets, Washington Commanders, and Kansas City Chiefs.
The most requested look is a soft-glam beat. One of Kaye’s favorite opportunities was working with Emily Mayfield, the wife of Tampa Bay Buccanneers quarterback Baker Mayfield.
“It ends up looking like an everyday look, but a little bit elevated, because the girls are going to be taking photos on the field and doing their own content and stuff as well,” Kaye said. “The goal is to make sure that it lasts throughout the whole game day and also looks good on camera.”
During the NFL season, she travels with her 55-pound kit to different cities weekly and shares her journey on social media. She can tackle up to seven wives at a time.
“I’ll glam them all back to back, and then they’ll go off to the game, and then I will fly back home,” the Miami-based MUA explained.” I’m usually only somewhere for about 24 hours.”
Kaye argued that wives and girlfriends prepare for games the same way any person would for their significant other’s professional work event.
“This is a time in their lives that they’re not going to have forever, and they want to make it as special as possible. I think that people like to assume that it’s making the WAGs look self-absorbed, and that’s absolutely not what it is at all,” she said. “They understand how special the moment is.”
Allahbia Mitchell, the fiancé of San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason, usually does her own hair and makeup. For game days, lip gloss and lip liner are essential!
However, she went the extra mile for the Super Bowl earlier this year.
“I use a makeup artist and hair stylist for Super Bowl. If we go back to the Super Bowl, I will probably do the same thing,” Allahbia, 25, said. “For the weekly game days, I just do everything myself. I like how I do my makeup, and I usually get a sew-in or a quick weave.”

Trendy, custom pieces get the job done
Allahbia, who met the pro footballer in 2021, takes pride in coordinating the team’s colors—red, white, and gold—with trendy, custom pieces or from online fashion site Fashion Nova, whom she’s partnering with. She shows her team spirit by donning her man’s number, name, or face on her clothing.
In one instance, she bedazzled a shirt with the #24: “It was a big trend for the girls to have their men’s number on the shirt.”
” I wanted to do something like that popped more, and it was a little bit more glam for the playoffs. So that’s where I got that idea. And it was a lot of work. It was stressful, but it came out looking cute,” she continued.
Allahbia also outsources. This season, she contacted a designer on Instagram to create a Y2K-inspired airbrushed heart tank top with her fiancé’s last name.
“He is definitely a fan of that stuff,” Allahbia said about her effort to show support at games even during her pregnancy. “He’s the type to appreciate that. He wants to see me on the field before the game. At the beginning of the season, they have open practices, and he wants to see me there, too.”
The NFL WAGs resurgence is here, so buckle up!
There has been a renewed spotlight on the NFL WAGs lifestyle, as many of the women have a name for themselves as social media influencers, business owners, Olympians, and celebrities.
Some prominent couples include Ciara and Russell Wilson, Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, and Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. PEOPLE reported in October that there have even been rumors about a potential reality show on Bravo of the Kansas City Chiefs WAGS.
Allahbia and Kayla are planning to carve their own lanes in the fashion space.
“I want to expand my styling services to other athletes and people in general,” Allahbia explained to USA TODAY. “I went to school for fashion, and that’s one of the avenues I was looking into going into.”
Kayla is turning her signature football purse into an upcoming business called Women With Ballz. The motto is “Turn game day into your runway.”
” I have some exciting things in the works, and hopefully these purses will be available to purchase soon,” she said. “I’ve gotten a lot of good feedback about people wanting to purchase these purses.”

FROM a lavish car collection to forgetting about $600,000 worth of Apple stock – Rob Gronkowski is enjoying a wild lifestyle.
When the four-time Super Bowl winner hung up his cleats in 2022, it was no surprise to see him grab retirement with both hands.

During his playing days for the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he claimed to have not spent any cash made from a NFL contracts, instead living purely off his lucrative business ventures and endorsements.
He has his own annual music festival, fitness brand, has sold NFT cards for $1.2million and even released a signature Gronk drink in partnership with Monster Energy.
The 35-year-old has also had cameos in films, the WWE and in adverts for household brands like Visa and Nike.
Gronk’s net worth is estimated at $45million.
But as he is no longer in his element at tight end, his new favorite position is behind the wheel of luxury vehicles.
Gronkowski boasts an impressive garage from 4x4s to sports cars.
One of his pride possessions is a customised Mercedes-Benz S63 that has 603-horsepower and a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8.
They are valued at $185,000 – but that is nothing compared to the predicted $253,000 he splashed on an Audi R8.
His second-generation model is powered by a V10 engine.
Gronk can also be spotted cruising around Tampa in a Bentley Continental GT.

His car supposedly has adjustable mood lights and several extras that set him back at least $200,000.
And his luxury collection would not be complete without an Audi Q7 and a Jeep.
His garage even got so full that Gronkowski and his girlfriend Camille Kostek gave away free sportscars to fans.
Last year, he gave his supporters a chance to win two free Corvettes if they bought a ticket in a raffle, with funds raised going to charity.
The giveaway featured a then brand new 2023 Corvette Stingray and a classic 1974 version of the car.
Despite spending close to $1million on motors over the years, Gronkowski is not short of money.

Her athletic journey at Duke wasn’t just about winning matches; it was a life-shaping experience. She once described herself as a “fighter” on the court and “caring” off it. Her love for competition extends beyond tennis—she humorously admitted to being a “card shark” when it comes to playing cards in her free time.
Annie’s commitment to giving back is just as impressive as her professional and athletic achievements. Along with Lucas, she co-established the Annie & Lucas Patrick–Mary E. Gambee Memorial Fund, a scholarship in memory of her late mother, Mary. Reflecting on their time at Duke, Annie once said, “Duke was, and continues to be, a special place for both Lucas and I. Our time on campus played a pivotal role in our development on and off the field.” Their endowment makes them the youngest former Duke student-athletes to create a scholarship, setting an inspiring example for others.

🏈 Good morning to all, but especially to …

THE CLEVELAND BROWNS
Walking — and winning — in a winter wonderland. The Browns stunned the Steelers, 24-19, after blowing a late lead, getting it back and then holding on.
Leading 18-6 about halfway through the fourth quarter, Cleveland gave up 13 points in 1:42.
Jaylen Warren scored from 3 yards out, Nick Herbig forced a Jameis Winston fumble, and Russell Wilson threw a 23-yard touchdown to Calvin Austin III three plays later. Winston then threw an interception, and all looked lost.
But it wasn’t. Pittsburgh went three-and-out, and Winston led a nine-play, 45-yard drive culminating in a 2-yard Nick Chubb touchdown. The drive included a huge 15-yard pass from Winston to Jerry Jeudy on third-and-6, Cleveland’s only third-down conversion all game.
Grant Delpit and Jordan Hicks knocked down Wilson’s Hail Mary attempt.
Cleveland is 3-8. It’s not going anywhere this year. But a win like this reminds us there’s plenty of individual talent — Myles Garretthad three sacks and a forced fumble, Chubb scored twice, and Jeudy was excellent — and reason to believe there could be better days if the team can somehow get quarterback figured out.
👍 Honorable mentions
😠 And not such a good morning for …

THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS
The Steelers’ close-game luck running out here — against a struggling division rival, in brutal conditions, on a short week (again), after a huge win over the Ravens — is especially frustrating. Perhaps more frustrating, stadium security guards had to restrain receiver George Pickens from Cleveland cornerback Greg Newsome II immediately after the Steelers’ failed Hail Mary ended the game.
After not scoring a single touchdown against Baltimore, Pittsburgh needed until the fourth quarter to find the end zone against Cleveland. And even when the offense started scoring, the defense couldn’t get crucial stops.
It’s a tough loss for the Steelers, no doubt, and it also extends their 44-year streak of losing divisional road games played on Thursdays. On the bright side, they’ll get a little bit of extra time to heal up before another challenging divisional game next week at Cincinnati. (On a Sunday.)
In the AFC, here are three races that intrigue me:
The No. 1 seed: The Chiefs are 9-1 and in the driver’s seat. But the Bills (8-2) are just a game behind and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker thanks to last week’s win over Kansas City.
Messy wild card picture: The AFC wild-card picture is crowded. The Broncos hold the No. 7 seed at 6-5. Then come the Colts (5-6), the Dolphins (4-6) and Bengals (4-7), who are barely hanging on but have plenty of offensive firepower.
The AFC North: The Steelers are 8-3, with the Ravens (7-4) giving chase. Pittsburgh faces a challenging finish that includes the Ravens, Chiefs, Eagles and Bengals twice.
Over in the NFC …
The No. 1 seed: The Lions (9-1) are a game up on the Eagles (8-2). Don’t sleep on Philadelphia.
The NFC West: The 6-4 Cardinals are one game up on the 5-5 Rams, Seahawks and 49ers. Yes, the Super Bowl runners-up are last in their own division, with a 1-3 divisional record. Our latest projections have San Francisco missing the postseason.
Is there room for a rally/collapse?: The Vikings (8-2), Packers (7-3) and Commanders (7-4) are the current wild card teams, and no one below them is above .500. Who will rally? Jordan Dajani ranked the NFC wild-card contenders.
That leaves a ton of key games this weekend, including the Cardinals visiting the Seahawks. Pete Prisco says …
Prisco:“The Cardinals are off a bye, while the Seahawks are off a tough, physical victory over the 49ers. That wears on a team. Seattle looked good on defense in that game, but Kyler Murray is playing well right now. He will in this one as the Cardinals win a key division game to stay in first place. Pick:Cardinals 23, Seahawks 20“
While that one’s going on, the 49ers are in Green Bay, but will Brock Purdy be under center? He’s dealing with a shoulder issue as San Francisco’s injury woes continue. The NFC West fun carries into the night when the Rams host the Eagles.
Ranked-vs.-ranked games, conference championship implications and potential playoff eliminations? This Saturday has it all, and it’ll start when No. 5 Indiana visits No. 2 Ohio State (preview) to open a loaded slate. The Hoosiers (10-0) have the nation’s No. 2 scoring offense, and the Buckeyes (9-1) have the No. 1 scoring defense, making for a tough pick in Tom Fornelli’s Six Pack. Oh yeah, and then there are the huge playoff implications and the fact that Indiana is never here while Ohio State always is.
There’s also no shortage of drama when No. 6 Notre Dame plays No. 19 Army at Yankee Stadium (preview). The Black Knights (9-0) and the Fighting Irish (9-1) are both very much in playoff contention, and if Army wins, the Group of Five deserves multiple playoff teams, not just the one it’s guaranteed should Army and No. 12 Boise State win out, Will Backus writes.
Backus:“Take conference affiliation out of the conversation and there’s no doubt that a 12-win league champion absolutely deserves a spot over a two-loss Power Four program that didn’t even do enough to make a conference championship game. … Boise State’s strength of record (SOR) currently sits at No. 15 nationally while Army is No. 19, according to ESPN’s FPI metric. Those numbers can tick up over the next couple of weeks with additional wins.”
🏈 Bryce Underwood flips to Michigan, Julian Lewis to Colorado
In a stunning turn, quarterback Bryce Underwood — the No. 1 recruit in the entire 2025 class who has drawn comparisons to Vince Young — flipped his commitment from LSU to Michigan, a massive win for Sherrone Moore and a devastating loss for Brian Kelly.
Underwood, a Belleville, Michigan, native, had been committed to LSU since January. CBS Sports’ Richard Johnson reported the Wolverines put together a $10 million offer to keep him in his home state.
Underwood is a “Potential franchise signal caller with the ideal blend of size, arm talent and athleticism,” 247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins writes.
Underwood is Michigan’s first No. 1 overall recruit since Rashan Gary and first five-star quarterback since J.J. McCarthy.
This is a much-needed win for Moore, who hasn’t found an answer at quarterback in his first year succeeding Jim Harbaugh.
It also means Brian Kelly, already on thin ice as LSU stumbles, is in even more dire straits, John Talty writes.
Talty: “Now LSU’s vaunted 2025 recruiting class, once replete with multiple five-stars, is in danger of being bloodied. … Kelly’s sideline interactions, his reputation for rubbing people the wrong way and now the recruiting arrow pointing in the wrong direction speak to a program in panic mode. … Kelly needed Underwood to be his savior. Time for Plan B. The clock’s ticking.“
Elsewhere in the 2025 quarterback landscape, four-star prospect Julian Lewiscommitted to Colorado. He’s the Buffaloes’ first blue-chip quarterback commit in the modern era, and it’s a huge boost for Deion Sanders once his son Shedeur leaves for the NFL.
It’s Ohtani’s third MVP; he also won it in the AL for the Angels in 2021 and 2023. Only Barry Bonds (seven) has more MVP awards.
Even though both players struggled in their much-anticipated World Series meeting (Judge’s postseason issues are well-established; Ohtani played through injury), these were truly remarkable seasons.
Snyder:“Judge has now gone over 10.5 WAR twice in the last three seasons. There have only been 18 players in MLB history to top 10.5 WAR in a season, going back to the likes of Honus Wagner and Eddie Collins. Judge is among 10 to have gotten there multiple times … Judge right now is statistically one of the greatest offensive players in baseball history.”
Snyder:“We’ve already seen Ohtani win two MVPs as a two-way player, a first in MLB history. We’ve now seen him win an MVP as a designated hitter, also a first in MLB history. This time around, he did so while carrying the best team in baseball en route to winning the World Series. Are there still any lingering naysayers? There sure shouldn’t be.”
⚽ NWSL Championship preview
Getty Images
TheNWSL Championship is tomorrow, 8 p.m. ET, on CBS, and you won’t want to miss it. The Spirit, led by USWNT star Trinity Rodman, face the Pride, led by Brazilian legend Marta and Zambian star Barbra Banda.
Cattry:“The league’s tactical evolution has led to a diversification of playing styles but during the 2024 season, the teams that have played the most aesthetically enjoyable soccer have come out on top more often than not. That includes this season’s finalists, who have taken different approaches to winning games but have not scrimped on goalscoring, and are unlikely to change that with the league’s biggest trophy on the line.”
I also loved Pardeep’s deep dive on Spirit owner Michele Kang.

Week 11 of the 2024 NFL season is wrapping up with just the “Monday Night Football” game left to play following the San Diego Chargers vs. Cincinnati Bengals matchup on “Sunday Night Football.”
Whether your NFL fantasy team is still at the top of your league or you’re trying to climb out from the bottom half of the standings, there’s still plenty of depth available to help you make a strong push toward the playoffs. Your next playmaker can be found on the waiver wire to fill the gaps on your fantasy roster next week.
Here are eight players that might be available on the waiver wire this week:
It might be time to consider Richardson again. The second-year quarterback spent two weeks on the bench before getting the start in Week 11 and leading the Colts to the 28-27 victory over the New York Jets. He completed 20 of 30 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown on the road. He also contributed to the rushing attack with 10 carries for 32 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the week with a season-high 28.08 fantasy points and is expected to start against the Detroit Lions.
(Rostered in 27% of leagues)
The tight end was a popular pickup over the weekend and could still be available in your league. Knox is expected to see an increase in his reps as long as Dalton Kincaid remains inactive with a knee injury. The only downside for Knox is that the Bills will be on a bye week. While that may be enough time for Kincaid to return for Buffalo, it would be smart for managers with Kincaid on the roster to stash Knox as a plan B at the position.
(Rostered in 54% of leagues)
Hill produced a strong outing to lead New Orleans to the 35-14 victory over the Browns on Sunday. He finished with 38.52 fantasy points after rushing the ball for 138 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries. He also contributed as a passer and pass catcher. Hill was the focal point of the offense but as those who have followed Hill closely know it could be hit or miss when it comes to weekly production. It will also be important to see what offensive positions he’s labeled as in your respective leagues.
(Rostered in 50% of leagues)
If you need a solution at quarterback, Wilson might be an option. He’s led the Steelers to four straight victories, which means he’s locked in as the starter for the time being despite Justin Fields getting a package against the Ravens on Sunday. Wilson completed 23 of 36 passes for 205 yards and an interception, finishing with just 7.30 fantasy points in what was considered a favorable fantasy matchup. If you put that point total aside, he’s produced at least 13 points in each of his last three games.
(Rostered in 25% of leagues)
Valdes-Scantling could be an instant pickup if you are looking for long-term depth at the receiver position. He’s seen no more than four targets over the last three weeks but has made the most of his opportunities in the last two games. Valdes-Scantling produced 24.40 fantasy points after catching all three of his targets for 109 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons. He’s followed that performance with two catches (on four targets) for 87 yards and a touchdown this weekend against the Browns for 15.70 fantasy points. He will be on a bye for Week 12 but has a favorable fantasy matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13.
(Rostered in 50% of leagues)
If you haven’t been thrilled with the play of your defense, the Rams might be worth looking for on the waiver wire. Los Angeles has produced at least six fantasy points over the last six games. The Rams defense has produced at least three sacks in each of the last four games and both an interception and a fumble in each of the last two games.
(Rostered in 53% of leagues)
Smith rewarded owners who started him on Sunday with a season-high 25.10-point fantasy performance in Week 11. He finished with six receptions on eight targets with 101 yards and two touchdowns in the Dolphins’ 34-19 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders.
(Rostered in 48% of leagues)
Nix produced 28.78 points in a dominant 38-6 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He completed 28 of 37 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns. It was the first 300-yard performance of the rookie’s season. Nix should be viewed as a QB1 option this week with a favorable matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Colorado Buffaloes, holding a 7-2 in the season and 5-1 in Big 12 play, have a solid chance to cement its spot in the playoffs. Just win your games, and you are good! If you’re a Colorado fan, you must know that our big guy, Deion Sanders, or Coach Prime, as we like to call him, stays in the limelight. But he’s not in everyone’s good books; that’s the price of being so famous and influential, and Coach Prime does not care about it. But while talking about a similar thing, his son, Shedeur Sanders, was a little nervous about how it could affect his future in the NFL.
On his 2legendary podcast, Shedeur hosted soccer legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, where he opened up about his future goals for joining the league next year. Now, an eye-catching moment from his interview was shared by Yahoo Sports on Instagram, and it’s raising many eyebrows in the college football world. it happened when Ibrahimovic indirectly asked him about Shedeur’s favorite spots in the NFL in a discussion on next year’s Draft.
“There’s a couple of teams that don’t fit. You know the situation, everything, and you got to understand, there’s a couple teams that don’t like the personality, that don’t like, dad! And don’t like everything like that. So it is what it is,” Shedeur Sanders mentioned. For obvious reasons, the Buffs QB1 did not get into the names of the teams he was talking about. That would have created quite an uproar. But, there you have it from the horse’s mouth. Some NFL teams may not draft the No. 1 QB in his draft class because they don’t like Deion.
On his part, Ibrahimovic helped Shedeur clear his thoughts and told him to be confident in himself. Here, we have to agree with what Zlatan said because the real teams will see Shedeur’s potential rather than hold grudges against Coach Prime. Because these stints and this sport run hand in hand.
Everyone is aware of a little cold war happening between Coach Prime and CBS Sport, and they ranked Shedeur Sanders as the No. 1 quarterback in their rankings a few days ago. So that’s how things work. Because Shedeur has his own identity, he has created it apart from being the son of the most influential person in college football. However, Coach Prime is also concerned about Shedeur’s future in the NFL.

Deion Sanders looking for an ideal spot for Shedeur Sanders
When Deion Sanders appeared on Tuesday’s (November 12) episode of “Speak” on Fox, he revealed that he had partially influenced his son’s career in the NFL. According to him, there are a few teams incapable of molding quarterbacks, and it will stunt their growth as players. After all, he wishes the best for his son. He only said that because if the wrong team picks Shedeur, he’ll need to intervene and pull an Eli Manning saga if the situation demands.
“Eli, a LaVar Ba-l, a LeBron… I’m pulling all of them. Sincerely, we’ve talked about it ostensibly. I’ve talked to multiple teams because they’re at practice every day. But I want what’s best for him, and I want him to be happy as well. You don’t really get to dictate where your son gets to go because there’s a draft process, but you know us, you know how we are. We know who ain’t trying to win in the NFL; you know who’s consistently in the basement year after year. You don’t want that situation for your kid,” Deion said.

What is this Eli Manning saga that Deion talks about? Well, the son of legendary Archie Manning was selected by the San Diego Chargers in 2004 as the No. 1 pick in the 2004 NFL Draft. However, before the event could have happened and knowing the Chargers would have the first pick, Eli had made it clear that he would not feature for San Diego. That resulted in a mind-blowing trade to the Giants for Philip Rivers. Similarly, LaVar Ba-l is known in the NBA world for making outrageous statements, and some of them were even related to the drafting situations of Lonzo Ba-l and LaMelo Ba-l.
Can we see Coach Prime doing something like that? Well, we’ll have our answer in about 6-7 months.

An interconference clash completes Week 10 of NFL action when the Miami Dolphins (2-6) tackle the Los Angeles Rams (4-4) at SoFi Stadium. Leading online sportsbooks report the Rams are taking more that 80% of the spread bets and money in an expeted higher scoring game.
The week started with nine NFL teams sporting just 2-wins, and now the NFL standings show six including the Dolphins (five in AFC) after the Patriots, Panthers and Saints all won as underdogs to pick up their third win. Favorites are 8-5 straight up but just 3-10 against the spread (ATS) in Week 10 into the Dolphins-Rams MNF game.

Kickoff is at 8:15pm ET on ABC and ESPN, and streamed online at ESPN+ and NFL plus.
Division Leaders
AFC
AFC division leaders include the Buffalo Bills (8-2), Pittsburgh Steelers (7-2), Houston Texans (6-4) and Kansas City Chiefs (9-0), who remain undefeated after escaping with another win. A blocked short field goal on the final play against the Denver Broncos Sunday sent Chiefs players and fans into a frenzy.
The Baltimore Ravens (7-3) are just 1/2 game behind the Steelers (7-2) in the AFC North in the tightest AFC division race. The Ravens lead the league in scoring, averaging 31.8 points per game following their thrilling 35-34 Thursday Night Football win over division foe Cincinnati Bengals to kick off Week 10 action.
NFC
Philaelphia Eagles (7-2), Detroit Lions (8-1), Atlanta Falcons (6-4) and Arizona Cardinals (6-4) are current NFC division leaders. The Lions also escaped Sunday with a 26-23 win on a last second 52-yard field goal after trailing the Houston Texans 23-7 at halftime. Another controversial penalty (pass interference) was not called against the Lions on the Texans final drive that resulted in a long missed 58-yard field goal to set up a short field and the Lions final drive to victory.
Three tight divison races in the NFC show the Lions (8-1) one-game in front of the Minnesota Vikings (7-2) in the NFC North. The Cardinals (6-4) lead the NFC West by a half game over the San Francisco 49ers (5-4) and LA Rams (4-4) if they win Monday. The Washington Commanders (7-3) fell a half game behind the Eagles (7-2) in the NFC East following the Commanders 28-27 loss to the Steelers Sunday with another Week 10 player prop winner posted on Forbes.
The Week 11 matchups and odds are posted by sportsbooks. The Commanders and Eagles kickoff the action Thursday, Nov. 14 with a first place showdown in Philadelphia and the Eagles a 3-point favorite.
Dolphins-Rams Matchups And Props
Bob Stoll of Dr. Bob Sports provides additional matchups and advance stats for the Dolphins-Rams matchup with information you can bet on. The updated injury report and media updates show Dolphins star WR Tyreek Hill (wrist) as a game-time decision to play.
Miami’s offense was a trainwreck without Tua Tagovailoa but they’ve only been 14th in EPA per play with the starting quarterback on the field which is well below last season when they averaged 0.10 EPA/play (4th).
The Dolphins haven’t been able to get WR Tyreek Hill going as he’s averaging nearly 2 yards per route run less than last year. WR Jaylen Waddle is averaging 0.59 EPA/target (7th) but this might not be the game for Miami’s offense to feature the wide receivers.
The Rams are surrendering a league-high 67% success rate to opposing tight ends and will struggle with TE Jonnu Smith, who has a 66% success rate (2nd).
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane is averaging 0.17 EPA/target (2nd) and the screen game will be clicking against a Rams defense, who are worst in the NFL allowing a 66% receiving success rate to opposing running backs.
Los Angeles edge rusher Jared Verse’s 39 pressures are the most for a rookie through the first nine weeks of the season in five years, but he will be shut down by LT Terron Armstead, who ranks 3rd in pass blocking efficiency.
Miami’s defense has a league-high 42% pressure rate, and the Rams will be without starting RT Rob Havenstein, who ranks 20th in pass-blocking efficiency. Backup Warren McClendon is surrendering an 11% pressure rate. Rams QB Matthew Stafford has thrown 78 passes over the past two games without a sack.
Los Angeles leads the NFL with a 78% motion rate but the Dolphins’ yards per pass play allowed against motion is a league-low 83% compared to no motion from the opposing offense.
Miami CB Jalen Ramsey conceding 0.73 yards per cover snap (7th) and he will contain WR Cooper Kupp, who is averaging 2.19 yards per route run (11th). WR Puka Nacua will be limited by Dolphins’ cornerback Kendall Fuller, who is allowing just 0.66 yards per cover snap (4th).
Our model favors the Rams by 2.4 points with a predicted total of 53.4.
The Dolphins have lost three straight games since their bye week, despite winning the stats by a net margin of 30 yards per contest. That includes the last two games with QB Tua Tagovailoa returning from a Week 2 concussion and the Dolphins losing 30-27 and 28-27 to the first place Bills and Cardinals. The Rams have won 3-in-a-row including 30-20 over the Vikings and last week in Seattle, a 26-20 overtime win to keep the Rams challenging for an NFC West title.
Player Props and Picks
MIA QB Tua Tagovailoa passing yards: Over/Under 244.5
LA QB Matthew Stafford passing yards: O/U 250.5
MIA RB De’Von Achane rushing yards: O/U 56.5, receiving 42.5
MIA RB Raheem Mostert rushing yards: O/U 32.5, receiving 7.5
LA RB Kyren williams rushing yards: O/U 84.5
MIA TE Jonnu Smith receiving yards: O/U 34.5, receptions 3.5
LA WR Puka Nacua receiving yards: O/U 67.5, receptions 5.5
LA WR Cooper Kupp receiving yards: O/U 66.5, receptions 5.5
LA WR Demarcus Robinson receiving yards: O/U 27.5, receptn 2.5
Prop Bets: Dolphins RB De’Von Archane’s receiving yards prop has been bet up from O/U 39.5 to 42.5 on FanDuel and even 46.5 on DraftKings sportsbook. That shows the discrepancy in numbers and the importance of shopping numbers and sportsbooks when wagering. Can’t advise betting into that rising number, althouth many receiving yards props posted here have sailed over the players prop numbers. Instead, Achane Over 5.5 receptions (+100) is a bet. Achane leads Dolphins in receptions (37) this season, and he had 8 and 6 receptions the past two games with Tua Tagovailoa back at quarterback. Now the matchups look even more favorable against the Rams as noted above and especially if Tyreek Hill does not play.
If you’re betting on Rams receivers props of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, Kupp has more favorable matchups as the slot receiver with the Dolphins defense allowing the eighth-highest percentage of targets go to the slot receiver. Puka Nacua under 5.5 receptions is a preferred play, but another bet of more interest is Rams TE Colby Parkinson under 18.5 receiving yards. He had zero targets or receptions last week against the Seahawks as his usage and plays on the field have declined the past two games after also catching just two passes for 17 yards against the Vikings and two receptions against the Raiders three games ago. The two receptions by Rams tight ends last game against the Seahawks went to backups. Too many other preferred options for QB Matthew Stafford, and Parkinson’s O/U receptions is just 1.5.
Following the Miami-LA Monday Night Football game, the Dolphins return home to tackle the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) while the Rams hit the road to Foxboro and play the New England Patriots (3-7).
More sports betting news, stats, MNF player props and information you can bet on as the NFL draws more watch and wager action with player props driving additional engagement, entertainment and interest.
