Thursday Night Football, Week 10 – Ravens vs. Bengals: How to watch, game time, TV channel, streaming

Thursday Night Football opens Week 10 with the Baltimore Ravens hosting the Cincinnati Bengals in an NFC North showdown.

The Ravens are one of the best teams in the NFL and were active on the trade market to reinforce their roster. First Baltimore traded with the Carolina Panthers for WR Dionte Johnson, then they struck a deal with the Los Angeles Rams for CB Tra’Davious White.

The Bengals, meanwhile, are working to overcome their 1-4 start to the season. They’ve won three of their last four games, but are in third place in the NFC North. The Bengals have a high-powered offense, but their defense has struggled outside the efforts of Trey Hendrickson.

The Ravens are 6.5-point favorites per FanDuel sports book.

Chris’ pick: I have to pick the Ravens for this game, though I don’t think it’s quite as clear-cut as the spread would make it look.

The last time these two teams met, the Bengals put up 38 points and took them to overtime. They should have won that game too, except for a special teams miscue and a failed field goal attempt. Then Derrick Henery did what he does and essentially iced the game with a 50-yard run on the ensuing possession.

The Bengals are tough to stop and Joe Burrow can put up points to keep pace with any opponent.

But in the end, Lamar Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP and is having (easily) the best year of his already-stellar career. He’s completing passes at a career-high rate while also having a career high average yards per attempt. He’s also throwing touchdowns at a career-high rate and interceptions at a career low.

The Bengals might keep things interesting, but the Ravens are a black and purple buzzsaw right now, and Jackson is a big reason why.

Monday Night Football, Week 7: Ravens at Buccaneers, Chargers at Cardinals – how to watch, game time, TV channel, streaming

The NFL schedule makers have given us a double-header for Sunday Night Football in Week 7.

First, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Baltimore Ravens in Tampa Bay. The Ravens are looking to keep pace with the rival Pittsburgh Steelers at the top of the AFC North, while the Buccaneers are trying to stave off the Atlanta Falcons at the top of the NFC South. This is also a meeting between familiar foes in Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson.

The second game of the night will be a west coast matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are in the hunt for one of the AFC’s wildcard spots, while the Cardinals are trying to keep pace with a beleaguered San Francisco 49ers squad for second place in the NFC West.

This game will be exclusively on ESPN+, and only broadcast in local markets.

    Chris’ Picks

Ravens at Buccaneers: I’m picking the Ravens for this game, but that shouldn’t be a slight to the Buccaneers and I think that this could wind up being an excellent game.

Baker Mayfield’s career was largely left for dead when he left the Factory Of Sadness (the Browns), but thanks to a competent environment in Tampa, he’s become the QB we thought he could be coming out of Oklahoma back in 2018.

However, the Ravens have been a model franchise for well over a decade now. They have a consistently good (to dominant) defense and a unique offense around a unique talent in Lamar Jackson. Tampa could well come out on top, but you never know when Lamar is going to do something indefensible that only Lamar can do.

The Ravens are 3.5-point favorites per FanDuel sports book.

Chargers at Cardinals: I have to pick the Chargers for this game. Neither team has been particularly inspiring on offense, but the Chargers are less likely to hurt themselves than the Cardinals.

I do think the Cardinals have a good chance at the upset. Their four losses have come against the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Washington Commanders, and Green Bay Packers — opponents that are a combined 20-7 on the season. It’s entirely likely that the Cardinals are better than their record says they are.

However, I think the Chargers are better coached and have more talent on both sides of the ball.

The Chargers are 1.5-point favorites per FanDuel sports book
