  • Coast FM host Lorna Riley on her engagement, whirlwind romance, and love in your 50s

Coast FM host Lorna Riley on her engagement, whirlwind romance, and love in your 50s

It took less than six months for Mike to get down on one knee – well, kind of.

“Actually, he didn’t get down on one knee – it was raining,” laughs Riley.

The two had spoken about the possibility of marriage early in their relationship, but Riley, believing it was “too soon”, had waved off the suggestion.

That was, however, until the couple embarked on a two-week cruise of the Mediterranean.

“I was starting to kick myself, thinking this would be the perfect opportunity,” she laughs.

“Burano is a little island off the coast of Venice, and it’s so pretty with all these pastel-painted houses and the little bridges over canals. It’s actually very close to Verona, which is where Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was set.

“I studied Shakespeare at university … the guide had mentioned that, and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s really, really cool’. And then when we were on the bridge, Mike turned to me and he quoted the Dire Straits’ song Romeo and Juliet,” she recalls.

“There’s a line from that song that says, ‘You and me, babe, how about it?’ And that’s what he said. And then he said, ‘Will you marry me?’ I hesitated for all of about 0.1 second,” she chuckles.

As Riley notes, it isn’t her first rodeo – nor is it for Mike. Both have children from previous relationships; Riley is mother to Lucy and Zoe, and grandmother to Lucy’s young daughter Kaia. Mike has three children; Ella, who is in her early 20s, and teens Matthew and Peter.

“When you get to our ages – you know, I’m 56, he’s 55 – when you know, you know. And we both knew,” Riley says.

“When he turned to me, it was unexpected in one way – but it wasn’t in another.”

Both sets of children have been supportive of the engagement, Riley says, a smile in her voice.

“Goodness knows what they’re saying behind our back,” she jokes.

“We had a big family dinner to announce it to everybody.

“They all seem absolutely thrilled. My youngest [Zoe] was surprised, but she assures me she’s very, very pleased. She’s already starting to plan the wedding, which won’t be for a little while – but she’s very keen on doing that.”

Riley’s parents are also thrilled at the news, she says, recalling her father’s response: “We’re not surprised, we could see it.”

“I’ve been through so much lately that, you know, I think if I can have happiness, I should grab it with both hands – but to have [her children] endorse that is just the icing on the cake,” she says.

Aside from her family and friends, Riley had another set of people to tell: her loyal Coast FM listeners.

She announced her and Mike’s engagement on air on Monday, and has been overwhelmed by the flood of supportive messages from her listenership.

“Everybody is saying such amazing things,” she gushes.

“The funny thing is, all of Mike’s friends are saying, ‘She’s a lucky woman’, and all of my friends are saying, ‘He’s a lucky man’ – and it’s true.

    “We both consider ourselves lucky.”

One might think what it means to be in love fluctuates as you age: perhaps priorities shift, emotions abate, and the flames of passion dampen. But for Riley, the warm-and-fuzzy feelings of young love have not changed – if anything, she says, love is better in your 50s.

“I genuinely think it’s just as exciting but I also believe it’s slightly better, in a way, because I think you know yourself better,” she muses.

“All those problems we both had with earlier relationships around communication, trust, all those sorts of things – you get to a stage where you just think, ‘Take me as I am’. I don’t want to pretend to be anything other than who I am. I don’t want to change for anybody.

“To find someone who perfectly fits you in that moment, it feels even better than that lovely exhilaration of falling in love. The ‘honeymoon period’ as it were, we all know that that doesn’t last.

“What you need underneath is that friendship, that respect, that trust, that loyalty, that communication – those are all the things that I can see are there already, and all the things I was looking for … [you need] to look at the person underneath when you get to our ages.

“We are in this for keeps.”

At the end of the day, she laughs, she and Mike “don’t want to go on those dating apps ever again”.

“I don’t know what people are thinking,” she says, recalling the horror stories she experienced from her time on the likes of Hinge and Bumble. Unsolicited pictures of men’s appendages, for example, were “a bit of a surprise and a bit horrific”.

“They don’t get better looking with age,” she laughs. “Nobody wants to see them anyway but, you know, they don’t even take good angles!”

Riley and Mike are now looking forward to the future. They have several trips planned, including a holiday to Riley’s “favourite place in the world”, Rarotonga, following her double mastectomy surgery next February.

“That’s something I should have probably had done before. I did want to give my body a chance to heal from everything else that had been through, but my oncologist said, ‘Look, you’ve had breast cancer twice. You’ve got the BRCA2 gene – it’s the sensible thing to do’,” Riley says.

“But it’s pretty hard when you go through any kind of treatment – particularly my chemo, my radiation, my surgery – on your own, not having somebody there to be by your side.”

Now, Mike is there “100%”, Riley says.

“His mum and his sister both had breast cancer, so he understands quite a lot about it,” she explains.

“He is thoroughly behind my decision to have this operation in February, and I know it’s going to be an easier ride knowing that my person is there alongside me.

“The whole thing about ‘losing your femininity’ – it’s part of your identity, your breasts – and having them gone, how is it going to affect me emotionally? [Mike’s] just reassuring me constantly that, you know, I am more than just my breasts,” she chuckles.

Also planned for next year is a trip to Western Australia with their youngest children to visit Ella, Mike’s eldest. In the meantime, she and Mike are planning plenty of travel around Aotearoa.

“We’re going to Wellington for a gig, we’re going to Queenstown for a gig,” Riley enthuses. “We like the same things. We like concerts, we like getting out and about.”

She’s also hoping to return to the United Kingdom towards the end of next year – a country she hasn’t been to since she and her family immigrated to New Zealand when she was just six years old.

“[It’s] where I’m from, but I’ve never been back since … so I really need to fix that.”

Who is Noor Alfallah? Meet Al Pacino’s glamorous ex-girlfriend with a string of high-profile ex-boyfriends including Mick Jagger as she strikes up rumoured romance with Bill Maher

Noor Alfallah has sparked speculation that she is dating Bill Maher, after they were spotted together at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles earlier this month.

And on Wednesday an insider told People that the film producer, 30, and the comedian, 68, ‘have gone on several dates’.

The insider told the outlet that it was still very ‘early’ in the relationship between the TV host and Noor, who has had past romances with a number of notable names.

She previously was in a relationship with Hollywood star Al Pacino, 84, and shares one-year-old son Roman with him.

A separate source said that Noor and Bill – who share a 38 year age gap – remain ‘friends.’

But there are reports that their new romance has been going on longer than most people think, with People reporting that the May-December couple has gone on several dates outside of the public eye.

MailOnline is taking a look at Noor’s extraordinary Beverly Hills upbringing, recent career successes and numerous high-profile romances.

    Who is Noor Alfallah?

Noor grew up in the exclusive Beverly Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, the oldest of four siblings, and was raised by her Kuwaiti father, Falah, and American mother, Alana.

Both have their social media accounts set to private, and according to her dad’s LinkedIn page, he is the president of a company called Q8 Capital Inc.

Noor’s younger sister Remi made headlines back in 2013, when she was linked to late singer Michael Jackson’s son Prince.

They reportedly dated while they both attended the super-private Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, California, and the pair was spotted on a series of dates around LA at the time.

The New York Post reported in 2013 that Noor’s family had a fortune ‘estimated to be in the high nine-figures.’

Over the years, Noor has built up an impressive circle of high-profile friends – including Imagine Entertainment chairman Brian Grazer, 73, and his wife Veronica, with whom she regularly posts photos on her Instagram account.

She also often flaunts her lavish jet-set lifestyle to her 80,000 followers, sharing glimpses into luxury trips to places like Capri and Saint-Tropez.

In 2022, she shared a number of snaps of herself staying in opulent locations including Cap d’Antibes – where she spent time at fashion designer Jean Pigozzi’s private villa.

And other photos see her posing with a number of her A-list pals, including Sienna Miller, Timothée Chalamet, and Kelly Rutherford.

Noor is also often spotted eating at popular LA restaurants and partying at glamorous hotspots – including the well-known sushi eatery Nobu, which is often visited by the Kardashians.

    What does Noor Alfallah do?

Noor studied at the UCLA School of Film and Television, before going on to secure a job as a film producer.

She is currently working as the vice president of Lynda Obst Productions at Sony, and is also reportedly developing two feature films with Obst.

The VP, along with her sister Remi, reportedly struck a pod-producing deal with Imagine Entertainment chairman Brian Grazer in 2021.

Most recently, Noor was a producer on the controversial Donald Trump biopic, The Apprentice, from director Ali Abbas.

The critically acclaimed film, which was theatrically released last week, stars Sebastian Stan as the younger incarnation of the divisive Donald Trump during the 1970s and 1980s.

Succession star Jeremy Strong plays Trump’s late lawyer and mentor Roy Cohn, while Oscar-nominated actress Maria Bakalova, who plays Trump’s late ex-wife Ivana Trump.

On Tuesday, Noor shared a string of snaps promoting the film on Instagram, including from a meal out with Al, Jeremy and Ali, in addition to a clip featuring Bill talking about the movie on his show.

She is also juggling her film career with motherhood, having primary physical custody of one-year-old Roman.

In March, she gushed to Vogue Arabia that parenthood is ‘the greatest blessing in my life,’ and ‘Roman has just been the greatest gift from God.’

She said her son is ‘a thousand times better than what I ever thought he would be’ and added: ‘Becoming a mom – to be honest – it’s greater than I could ever imagine.’

When did Noor Alfallah date Al Pacino?

Noor and Al were first romantically linked in April 2022,  and were said to have started dating during COVID-19 lockdown.

Sharing a 54-year age difference, Noor was 28 and Al, 81, at the time and a photo of the couple from a dinner with Jason Momoa quickly went viral.

A source told Page Six: ‘Pacino and Noor started seeing each other during the pandemic. She mostly dates very rich older men, she was with Mick Jagger for a while, and then she dated Nicholas Berggruen,’ the source said.

‘She has been with Al for some time and they get on very well. The age gap doesn’t seem to be a problem, even though he is older than her father.’

They added: ‘She moves with the wealthy jet-set crowd, and she comes from a family with money.’

Noor revealed in Vogue Arabia that they both met at a dinner party in the late 2010s and became friends.

She admitted: ‘He’s a very talented and unique person. But I had no intention of thinking like, oh, he is going to be my son’s father one day.

‘Al lives down the street from my house and we started spending every day together, playing chess and watching movies. It was like film school with Al Pacino. I guess it just became something more.’

There were reports that the couple had split in September 2022, before reps for the actor insisted: ‘They’re still together.’

Representatives for The Godfather star then confirmed that they were welcoming their first child together, just one month before she was set to give birth.

They welcomed son Roman in June 2023, making Al one of the oldest fathers in history.

Roman is his fourth child – sharing 34-year-old Julie with Jan Tarrant and 23-year-old twins Anton and Olivia with Beverly D’Angelo, who he dated from 1997 to 2003.

Soon after welcoming their son, Noor filed for custody of Roman the following September.

A Los Angeles judge ruled that Al has to pay Noor around $30,000 a month in child support for their son, according to documents obtained by Page Six.

The Scarface star was first ordered to pay her a $110,000 payment, on top of the monthly payments, as well as $13,000 for a night nurse, along with any medical bills that aren’t covered by health insurance.

He is also to make a yearly $15,000 deposit into an education fund for Roman and as part of the ruling, the pair have joint legal custody, with Noor having primary physical custody.

The pair have maintained an amicable relationship since the split, with Noor recently taking to her Instagram to promote Al’s upcoming memoir Sonny Boy and earlier this month, Al confirmed that the pair are ‘just friends’.

When asked if he’s currently in a relationship at the start of October, the actor told People: ‘No. I have friendship.’

His rep further clarified: ‘Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.’

    Who are Noor Alfallah’s ex-boyfriends?

Al is not the first high-profile man Noor has dated and a source previously told Page Six that she ‘mostly dates very rich older men.’

She previously hit the headlines for enjoying a tryst with legendary rocker Mick Jagger, 81, back in October 2017.

Noor and Mick were spotting enjoying a number of romantic dates while the Rolling Stones star was in France for the band’s No Filter tour.

At the time, sources said that Mick first hooked up with the socialite in a private flat in the suburbs of Paris, with a chauffeur then taking the brunette beauty back to her hotel the following day.

They enjoyed more romantic evenings in the days that followed – including dinner at the Caviar Kaspia with the Stones’ backing crew and a private meal at La Stresa.

Noor was also in attendance when the band played the city’s U Arena and the day after the gig, the Satisfaction singer was seen arriving at his new squeeze’s hotel.

‘Mick still has his legendary charm but even the band were surprised someone as young and beautiful as Noor came to Paris to see him,’ an insider told DailyMail.com at the time.

‘They are both single and seemed to have a lot of fun together, so everyone just let them get on with it.

‘Mick is showing absolutely no sign of slowing down. He certainly had a smile on his face and famous twinkle in his eye.

‘Noor is very confident and well educated so she fitted in well at all the upmarket places they went together.’

However, despite sources saying that they were ‘both single’ at the time, their budding romance caused quite the stir after Mick’s spokesperson insisted that he was still in a relationship with Melanie Hamrick – who he had been dating since 2014 and was the mother of his eighth and youngest child, Deveraux.

It’s been said that Mick and Noor got together while he was still Melanie, and stayed together long after he and Melanie broke off their relationship – through much of 2017 and 2018.

In April 2018, Noor took to Instagram to share a throwback shot that showed Mick hugging her tightly from behind as they posed alongside Ronnie Wood and his wife, Sally Humphreys.

Captioning the pic, she wrote: ‘Same time last year! Miss you guys!’

Eventually, things fizzled out between them, and while speaking to Hello! two years later, Noor – who was 22 when she dated the then-74 rock star – addressed their large age gap.

She said that despite all the negative ‘comments’ she received about it from people online, she ‘didn’t regret it’ and ‘had many great memories’ with Mick.

‘Our ages didn’t matter to me,’ she insisted. ‘The heart doesn’t know what it sees, it only knows what it feels. It was my first serious relationship, but it was a happy time for me.’

She revealed that they had been introduced at a dinner party weeks earlier, after being invited by her close friend Sally, and had managed to keep their burgeoning relationship out of the public eye until they were spotted in Paris during the tour.

Noor also previously found love with billionaire philanthropist Nicolas Burggruen, 63, after being spotted having lunch together in April 2018.

The son of an art collector and an actress, Nicolas, who previously escorted supermodel Claudia Schiffer, was schooled in Switzerland but made his fortune in America, mostly in property.

At the time of their first sighting together, sources claimed that Noor was still in a relationship with Mick.

However, by August of that year it appeared that she and Nicolas were going strong because she couldn’t stop gushing over him on social media.

She posted a picture of herself and Nicolas in honor of his birthday, wishing her ‘partner in crime’ a great day, adding: ‘So happy I get to celebrate with you.’

Throughout the summer, they were spotted jetting off on numerous romantic getaways to Capri, Italy, and Saint-Tropez, France, and continued to share PDA-filled snaps on Instagram.

In October, Noor and Nicolas were spotted at an art exhibition together in Los Angeles, and one month later, she posted a snap of herself hanging out with Nicolas and her younger brother while celebrating her birthday.

She continued to share snaps with him throughout 2019, with it being unclear when exactly the pair split, with them last being pictured publicly together in early 2020.

The youngest man Noor has been publicly linked to is actor and film director Eli Roth, 52, who she was linked to two months after he split from his wife Lorenza Izzo.

Rumours started to circulate that they were dating in 2018, after they both attended the same wedding reception in Malibu.

In the weeks that followed, the two were spotted on a series of dates together, and during one outing, the Noor was even photographed linking arms with the director as they put on a loved-up display on the way to a California-based restaurant.

But as the outings occurred around the same time that she was linked to Nicolas, it’s still unclear whether or not Noor and Eli ever actually dated or if they were just friends.

Another rumoured tryst of Noor’s is the legendary actor and director Clint Eastwood, 94, who she was thought to be dating in January 2019.

Speculation began when the Oscar-winning star was pictured heading off from a night out together with Noor at celeb hotspot Craig’s in West Hollywood.

Noor was seen in the backseat of Clint’s car, just day after he was spotted with her parents outside of Nobu in Malibu.

However, when asked about the rumored romance, Noor was keen to insist that Clint was just a family friend, telling DailyMail.com: ‘There is no relationship.’

‘We’re not dating. There is no relationship. We’re family friends, and my family was there and that’s it.

‘My parents were there, other friends were there. Trust me there’s no relationship.’

Jono Castano sparks romance rumours with Perth influencer after leaving VERY flirty comments on her Instagram… months after split from Simone Holtznagel

Jono Castano has sparked romance rumours with a Perth-based influencer months after splitting from his girlfriend Simone Holtznagel.

The 33-year-old celebrity personal trainer, who welcomed his first child earlier this year with Simone, confirmed the news of his breakup in July.

He has since sent tongues wagging after liking and leaving very flirty comments on Nilofar Khirzad’s recent Instagram posts.

Nilofar is a Perth-based influencer born in Afghanistan, and is the founder of fashion labels Khirzad and Khirzad Femme.

In one post, shared on October 11, the designer flaunted her own pieces from her brand — wearing a $290 burgundy blouse and $389 orange skirt.

Jono commented on her photo with a flirty fire emoji.

In a post from September, the Acero Gym owner commented ‘Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkk’ on a series of busty photos of Nilofar at a restaurant in Melbourne, to which she replied with three love heart emojis.

In the snaps, the influencer wore a black maxi skirt, a black cropped lace top worth $635 and a $680 jacket.

The personal trainer and Simone, 31, quietly split around nine weeks after they welcomed their baby daughter Gia on Easter Sunday.

Jono finally confirmed news of their break-up in July, and Simone has since said she is raising Gia alone and cryptically remarked that she ‘couldn’t change’ her partner.

Simone later broke her silence on their split by saying she ‘couldn’t change’ the man that she loved as she hinted at the reasons behind their break-up.

‘I wanted to set an example for my daughter; that’s something that shifted for me. One day I was like, ‘What am I doing? This isn’t right.’ And I would hate if she was ever in this situation,’ she told Stellar.

‘You have to do what is right for you at the end of the day. No matter the number of promises or anything else that people make, when they show you who they are, believe them. Because you can’t change people.’

Simone also said she is content raising her baby Gia, six months, alone and that she is confident she made the right choice.

‘I’ve never felt more sure of anything, and I know I can do it by myself. It’s unfortunate that I’m mostly having to do it by myself, but I couldn’t think of it any other way, really,’ she said.

‘What I’m doing just feels very right for me, the most important thing to me is that Gia is happy and healthy, and that I’m happy too.’

In another swipe, Simone recently addressed the positives and negatives of doing motherhood ‘alone’, despite seemingly sharing parenting duties with Jono.

In a recent interview, Simone notably failed to mention Jono in an apparent swipe as she thanked her family and friends for supporting her.

When asked about the aspect of motherhood that surprised her, Simone told Women’s Health: ‘Positive: I can do this alone. Negative: I am doing this alone.

‘My family and friends have gone absolutely above and beyond for me, and I am lucky that the negatives feel a lot easier with them by my side.’

Simone welcomed her daughter Gia with Jono on Easter Sunday, but the couple went their separate ways just nine weeks later, with Jono confirming the news at the end of July.

‘Who knows what the future holds, our idea is just to be the best parents for Gia at this stage,’ he told Daily Mail Australia in a statement at the time.

A close friend of the couple then revealed the writing was on the wall for the end of Simone and Jono’s relationship for quite some time.

A source told The Daily Telegraph that several friends and family members warned Simone her model lifestyle was not compatible with Jono’s fitness influencer career.

  • Niles And Matilda’s Whirlwind Romance Raises Serious Questions Before Their Wedding

Niles And Matilda’s Whirlwind Romance Raises Serious Questions Before Their Wedding

Matilda and Niles Valentine are the fastest newcomers on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, but there are worries about the Ghanaian native.

Niles and Matilda first connected online when she messaged him “out of nowhere.” They chatted online for about two years, and Niles fell in love during their conversations. Due to his autism, Niles found it hard to connect with others, which made him feel isolated.

However, he believes he has found the love of his life. He was so sure that Matilda was the one that he proposed over the phone, even though they had never met in person.

Like other stars from Before the 90 Days, they have not met yet, but the couple plans to get married during Niles’ trip to Ghana. Niles believes Matilda is his soulmate, but I am not fully convinced about their situation.

My biggest concern is how quickly Matilda wants to rush into their wedding plans. They have been connected since Matilda randomly messaged Niles online, which makes their relationship feel rushed.

Because of his autism, Niles struggled with social situations, was bullied as a child, and often avoided sharing his true thoughts.

Still, his conversations with Matilda made him feel special, leading to his quick proposal. Matilda was excited and began planning their wedding right away after she accepted.

Niles felt overwhelmed and anxious about getting married so soon. He was worried because his family did not support the relationship and his decisions.

Therefore, Niles wanted to take more time to get to know Matilda and save up to give her the wedding of her dreams.

Niles tried to be honest with Matilda about his feelings. But when he spoke up, she responded with a firm “don’t let me down.”

This made him rethink his words and wait to talk more in person. I understand Matilda’s excitement about marriage, but I also see Niles’ perspective. If Matilda truly loved Niles, I think she would be more willing to wait for a wedding.

Another worry is how openly Matilda has talked about her family’s need for money and her wish to live in America, which raises questions about her true motivations. Quick marriages are common in this franchise.

For example, Tigerlily Taylor and Adnan Abdelfattah got married just after she arrived, mostly due to Adnan’s Muslim faith. However, I question Matilda’s reasons for wanting to rush into marriage.

In her confessional, Matilda mentioned that her father was a carpenter but has passed away. Because of this, her family lost that income source.

She helps her mother sell plantains at the market, but they do not earn enough money and are barely getting by. Additionally, she finds Offinso boring and wants to live in a place with fancy clubs and large restaurants.

While many people on 90 Day Fiancé want to enjoy the benefits of living in America, they usually see these perks as extra bonuses that come with being with the one they love.

It seems Matilda cares more about her lifestyle and living in a nice place than being truly happy with Niles.

In the end, I feel Matilda might be taking advantage of Niles. Since Niles has autism and finds it hard to understand social cues, it is possible that he does not realize how Matilda may be manipulating him emotionally. I think Niles was right to postpone the wedding.

Spending time with Matilda in person will help him better understand their relationship and see if she genuinely cares for him.

If she truly cared and understood more about his autism, I hope she would be willing to wait patiently. I just hope Niles stays true to his plan and speaks up when he finally meets his Ghanaian queen. 90 Day Fiancé and its spin-offs air on TLC and are available to stream on Max in the U.S.

  • Romance fraudster who conned £175,000 out of his victim to fund lavish lifestyle of Rolexes and holidays abroad is ordered to pay back just £30,000

Romance fraudster who conned £175,000 out of his victim to fund lavish lifestyle of Rolexes and holidays abroad is ordered to pay back just £30,000

A romance fraudster who conned a woman out of £175,000 to fund a lavish lifestyle has been ordered to pay back just £30,000.

Kye Hughes, 35, of Rochester, Kent, funnelled some of the cash into his personal account and spent it on lush holidays to Portugal and Turkey, Rolex watches, and splashing out £1,200 on Louis Vuitton products.

He had scammed his victim by pretending he was a musician and for extra money invested in luxury watches, suggesting that if she did the same she would double her money.

Hughes received thousands of pounds from his victim who believed it was a legitimate scheme, and asked for more funds, promising a return on her investment which never materialised.

The woman reported the fraud to the force and Hughes was arrested in 2019.

Hughes was jailed for three years in 2023, and now must hand over more than £30,000 by Christmas Eve or face another 12 months behind bars

He was jailed at Maidstone Crown Court in October 2023 for three years and four months for fraud by false representation and money laundering, according to Kent Police.

At a further hearing at the same court on September 27 this year, he was ordered to pay back £32,144 to the victim by December 24 or face a further 12 months in prison.

Kent Police Detective Inspector David Godfrey said: ‘Our work does not stop at the point of conviction – we will always do everything we can to get as much money as possible back for victims.

‘In this case, the woman was left heartbroken and under serious financial strain after being defrauded out of her life savings. I hope the compensation from the confiscation order will go towards helping her in the recovery of this ordeal.’

Chief crown prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) proceeds of crime division, Adrian Foster, said: ‘Romance fraud is a cruel deception that preys on the unique trust and vulnerability that exists in intimate relationships.

‘Kye Hughes manipulated the victim, stealing from her, threatening her and leaving her with debt and unimaginable stress.’

From 2019 to 2024, £450 million has been recovered from convicted criminals through CPS confiscation orders, including £88 million returned to victims of crime, a CPS spokesman added.

‘Live’ Kelly Ripa & Mark Give Romance Advice For Vacations

Mark Consuelos - Kelly Ripa - Live With Kelly and Mark - ABC

Live With Kelly and Mark is back for a new season after a hiatus, and this week, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos both appeared on the set of the ABC talk show. Now they are both back, there is laughter and innuendos. Speaking about romantic destinations, Mark and his wife made people giggle when they gave their fans some advice.

Kelly Ripa & Mark Bring The Laughter On ABC

When Mark Consuelos first joined his wife on the talk show, ABC fans thought it would never work for them. After all, who would tune in and watch a married couple talk about their life?  Well, as Mark loved talking about sports, more men tuned in. And of course, Kelly, with her sharp humor, always had a great fan base.

Kelly Ripa has been on the show for decades, and ABC fans never tire of her one-liners. One of the best parts of the show comes when they arrive and start talking about the headlines or interesting snippets about lifestyle. This week, they talked about Friday the 13th being unlucky. And they discussed the top countries in the world to live in.

    Mark Consuelos Dishes Romance Advice

Live with Kelly and Mark fans heard from Kelly that these days, Paris dropped and is no longer the best romantic destination in the world. Actually, she pointed out that “Maui” is. The ABC host said that it was based on traveler polls. So, France has slipped.

Kelly Ripa then said, “Maui is the most romantic destination to visit with a partner…But when you travel to romantic places, no matter how romantic and beautiful they are, if you are with your children, you don’t really understand the romance.”

Mark Consuelos threw in his thoughts on romantic destinations with kids. He said, “If you’re with a bunch of kids, that last thing you’re thinking about is making more kids.” That got a good laugh from the audience.

    Other Romantic Destinations

Of interest, another romantic destination is “Aspen Colorado,” and Mark Consuelos said that he “loves” the place. But, if you look for romance, Kelly Ripa pointed out that “11% of the voters said New York City” is a top romantic city. Well, Kelly and Mark liked that even more, as they didn’t have to travel to get there. Still, Mark Consueloa chimed in and told his fans that “one of kids nicknames is Made In Montreal.” So clearly, Canada is top of his list of favorite romantic destinations.

What do you think of Mark Consuelos agreeing with Kelly Ripa that romantic destinations with kids just don’t cut it? Shout out in the comments below, and remember to come back here for all your Live with Kelly and Mark news and updates.
