MONDAY
Boys Basketball
Milton 65, Booker T. Washington 45: A battle between two heavyweights in Northwest Florida went in favor of the Panthers.
The difference-makers were the second and third quarters, when Milton held Booker T. to just six points, before outscoring the Wildcats, 21-10, in the third frame. Even though Booker T. outscored Milton, 18-10, in the fourth, the Panthers were able to hold on for the win.
Milton was led by 16 points from both Mateo Robinson and Treymar Jones. Robinson tallied nine rebounds, two assists and four steals. Jones tacked on six rebounds, five assists and three steals. Sergio Robinson posted 14 points, three rebounds, two steals and a block.
Ra’shaun Elzy (10), David Aboya (4), Elliot Wilson (3) and Tate Rodriguez (2) all rounded out the scoring for the Panthers.
Booker T. (2-1) plays Pensacola Catholic at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. Milton (2-0) hosts Escambia on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m.
WS Neal (Ala.) 63, Central 50: The Eagles handed the Jaguars their first loss early in the season.
WS Neal mounted a second-half comeback, highlighted by a 22-point fourth quarter, that sent the Eagles to victory. Individual stats have not been reported yet.
Central (3-1) hosts Pensacola Christian on Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Choctaw 44, Escambia 36: The Gators fell to the Indians in a battle between Escambia and Oklaoosa County programs.

Escambia (1-2) goes to Milton on Tuesday for a 6:45 p.m. game.
Gulf Breeze 61, College Station (TX) 48: The Dolphins started the Innisfree November Beach Basketball Tournament with a win, topping the Cougars.
A strong start for Gulf Breeze pushed it to victory, after going up, 25-10, following the first quarter over College Station. From there, the Dolphins battled with the Cougars, and took the victory.
Michael Bailey led Gulf Breeze with 15 points, two rebounds and a block. Roman Jackson tacked on 14 points, a rebound, an assist, a steal and a block. Hutson Rowe tallied 11 points with eight rebounds, five assists and three steals.
Brennan Hill (6), Clark Norris (5), Parker Boyd (4), Elliott Donahoe (4) and Anthony Lee (2) all rounded out the scoring.
Gulf Breeze (4-0) hosts Vicksburg (Miss.) on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
West Florida 60, Navarre 58: The Jaguars snuck out a win over the Raiders in a tight battle.
The Jaguars went up big after outscoring the Raiders, 20-9, in the third quarter to go up, 49-38. Navarre didn’t go away quietly though, nearly mounting the comeback in the fourth frame.
Brayden Justice led West Florida with 19 points, nine rebounds, four assists, a steal and two blocks. Frank Likely tallied 14 points, four rebounds and two steals. Kayleb Johnson (6), Izharian Young (5), Micah Murphy (4), Jakobe Fairley (4), Darius Huntley (3), Paxton Hardy (3) and Heston Burns (2) all rounded out the scoring.

Navarre (0-3) plays Pensacola on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. West Florida (1-2) goes to Tate on Dec. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
Pensacola 57, Pace 36: The Tigers picked up their first win of the season, topping the Patriots.
Pensacola maintained a strong lead throughout the entire contest, including a 33-18 advantage at halftime.
Rupert Sproles led Pensacola with 14 points, three rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block. Noah Jones posted 12 points, six rebounds, an assist and two steals. Khlyen Eccles recorded eight points, adding a rebound, two assists, two steals and a block.
Jabari Epps (7), Tristan Romero (6), Sharonne Davis (4), Zayen Watts-Riley (3), Donovan Long (2) and AG Floyd (1) rounded out the scoring for the Tigers.
Pace (0-1) plays Pine Forest on Tuesday at 3:15 p.m. Pensacola (1-1) takes on Navarre at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pensacola Catholic 57, Destin 52: The Crusaders have now won back-to-back games after beating the Sharks.

Pensacola initially shut out the Yellowjackets in the first quarter, 7-0, which ultimately made the difference in an otherwise narrow contest.
